Beworm Plus Suspension is a mixture of two medicines: Ivermectin and Albendazole. Ivermectin works by binding to the muscle and nerve cells of worms, causing their paralysis and death. Albendazole works by keeping the worms from absorbing sugar (glucose), thereby depleting their energy level.
- Uses / Indications: Beworm Plus Suspension is used in the treatment of parasitic worm infections and parasitic infections.
Interactions / Warnings:
Beworm Plus Suspension may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness with alcohol.
- Pregnancy interaction:
- Beworm Plus Suspension may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
