Drep-C Ear Drop is a medicine used in the treatment of fungal infections in the ear. It works by killing and inhibiting the growth of fungi in the ear. This relieves discomfort, itching, irritation, and pain in the ear.
Drep-C Ear Drop is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. This medicine should be used regularly to get the most benefit from it. You can help the medicine work better by keeping the affected areas clean, making sure they are dry, and washing your hands before and after treating the infection.
It may cause burning, irritation, itching, and redness immediately following application. However, these side effects are temporary and usually subside on their own. Inform your doctor if they persist for a longer duration.
It is not likely that other medicines you take by mouth or injection will affect the way this medicine works, however, let your doctor know if you are using any other medicines. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, ask the advice of your doctor before using the medicine.

- How to use:
- This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.
- How it works:
- Drep-C Ear Drop is a combination of two medicines: Lidocaine and Clotrimazole which treat ear infections. Lidocaine is a local anesthetic which works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to the brain thereby decreasing the sensation of pain. Clotrimazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering.
