Neodipine 10 MG Tablet is a medicine used for the treatment of high blood pressure. This medicine works by relaxing your blood vessels, and improving free blood flow, thus lowering your blood pressure. This will reduce the risk of heart attack or a stroke. Neodipine 10 MG Tablet shows side effects like swelling in your ankles or feet, headache, sleepiness, dizziness, tiredness, nausea, and stomach upset. Most of these side effects are temporary and usually resolve with time. Consult your doctor if any of these symptoms persist or worsen. Avoid consuming grapefruit juice with this medicine as it can cause serious side effects. Neodipine 10 MG Tablet can be taken with or without food. The dose will be decided by your doctor depending on your condition. Take this medicine at the same time every day to maintain a constant level in the blood. It is a long-term treatment hence, do not stop using this medicine without consulting your doctor. Abrupt stopping can cause unwanted side effects or a sudden increase in your blood pressure. Neodipine 10 MG Tablet is not recommended to be used in children under 18 years unless prescribed by your doctor. Inform your doctor about all the medicines and supplements you are taking as this medicine can interact with them and result in side effects. - It is very common to have dizziness, lightheadedness, swelling ankles/feet, flushing, or a headache as a side effect. To lower your risk of dizziness and lightheadedness, get up slowly when rising from a sitting or lying position. Inform your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or if it worsens (for example, your blood pressure readings remain high or increase, chest pain continues or worsens). Inform your doctor immediately if any of these serious side effects occur: fast/irregular/pounding heartbeat, fainting. Use this medication regularly to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, take it at the same time each day. It is important to continue taking this medication even if you feel well. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing schedule. Do not double the dose.
