Omnacortil 40 MG Tablet is a corticosteroid medicine. It is used to treat various conditions such as arthritis, asthma, allergic conditions, certain types of cancer, skin, eye, thyroid, or intestinal problems, etc.
Omnacortil 40 MG Tablet works by blocking the action of chemical substances that are responsible for pain and swelling and altering your body's immune response. Omnacortil 40 MG Tablet may cause some side effects like headache, vomiting, upset stomach, anxiety, sleeplessness, etc. Consult your doctor if they persist or become severe. Avoid activities that require high mental alertness, like driving vehicles and operating machines, as it may cause dizziness.
Omnacortil 40 MG Tablet can reduce your immune response and increase the risk of infection. Omnacortil 40 MG Tablet is a prescription medicine. Disperse the tablet in half a glass of water and consume. It should be taken with food to avoid stomach irritation. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of the treatment depending on your condition. Avoid taking more or less than the prescribed dose. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor, as it may worsen your health condition.
Omnacortil 40 MG Tablet is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Use this medicine with caution if you have diabetes or liver/kidney conditions. - Uses / Indications: Omnacortil 40mg Tablet is used in the treatment of severe allergic reactions, allergy symptoms, asthma, rheumatic disorder, skin disorders, eye disorders and nephrotic syndrome.

- Pregnancy interaction:
- Omnacortil 40mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

- Take with food to avoid an upset stomach. Dose is decreased or tapered over time. Most side effects occur with high doses and on long-term use. Your risk of getting an infection may become higher. Tell your doctor immediately if you have a fever, flu-like symptoms, cough, painful urination, or a wound that does not heal.
