PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Purplz 100mg Injection is used to treat cancer of the lymphatic system such as Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma (NHL). It may also be used to treat other types of cancer as determined by your doctor. It can be used alone, or together with certain other medicines as part of combination chemotherapy.
Purplz 100mg Injection is given as an injection into vein under the supervision of a doctor and should not be self-administered. This will depend on what you are being treated for and may change from time to time. You should take it exactly as your doctor has advised. Taking it in the wrong way or taking too much can cause very serious side effects. It may take several weeks or months for you to see or feel the benefits but do not stop taking it unless your doctor tells you to.
The most common side effects of this medicine include anemia (low number of red blood cells), decreased white blood cell count, infection, fatigue, nausea, and vomiting. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them.
Inform your doctor if you have a medical history, of bleeding disorders, heart or liver disease, radiation treatment or any infection. Many other medicines can affect, or be affected by, this medicine so let your doctor know all medications you are using. This medicine is known to reduce the number of blood cells in your blood thereby, increasing the susceptibility to infections. Regular blood tests are required to check your blood cells along with kidney, liver and heart function during treatment with this medicine. The use of effective contraception by both males and females during treatment is important to avoid pregnancy.
- Uses / Indications: Purplz 100mg Injection is used in the treatment of blood cancer, Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma and multiple myeloma.

- Pregnancy interaction:
- Purplz 100mg Injection is unsafe to use during pregnancy.There is positive evidence of human fetal risk, but the benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk, for example in life-threatening situations. Please consult your doctor.
- Expert advice:
- Monitoring of the blood cell count and potassium level is required before the start and regularly during the therapy. Consult your doctor if you have any signs of infection, fever, lung symptoms, skin reactions, pain in abdomen, blood in urine, reduced volume of urine. Inform your doctor if you have heart disease (heart attack, chest pain, severely disturbed heart rhythms). Men should adopt appropriate contraceptive measure during and up to 6 months after treatment and may require sperm conservation prior to treatment because of possibility of irreversible infertility. Bendamustine may cause sleepiness and dizziness or lack of coordination; it is advisable to avoid driving or operating heavy machinery under such circumstances. Bendamustine is not recommended for children and adolescents.
