- Roseus 20mg Injection may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.
- Expert advice:
- Your doctor has prescribed Roseus to replenish your iron stores and improve symptoms of anemia. It may take a few months before you have seen the full benefit of Roseus. Your stool colour may become black. Inform your doctor if this happens as the treatment can be changed to reduce side effects. When taken on an empty stomach, Roseus is absorbed faster. However, you should take it with food if you experience side effects such as an upset stomach or nausea. Avoid taking Roseus with milk, coffee, antacids, or calcium supplements as they can reduce the amount of medicine absorbed.
