Chloromycetin Ear Drop is to be used as per the label instructions or as suggested by your doctor. This medicine must be applied only to the affected ear. Use for as long as the doctor has prescribed. Wash your hands before administering the medicine. Do not use it more than the recommended dose.

- Chloromycetin Ear Drop may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

- How to use:
- This medicine is for external use only.Take it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye/ear without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.

- Chloromycetin Ear Drop is a combination of two medicines: Benzocaine and Chloramphenicol. Benzocaine is a local anesthetic. It works by blocking pain signals from the nerves to brain which decreases sensation of pain. Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic which stops bacterial growth by preventing synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions.
