Lacrimist Gel is a lubricating agent. It is used in the treatment of dry eyes. It works similar to natural tears and provides temporary relief from burning and discomfort due to dryness of the eye.
This Gel is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Use it regularly to get the most benefit from the medicine.
Lacrimist Gel is generally safe with little or no side effects. However, if you experience any symptoms which you believe is due to the use of Lacrimist Gel, inform it to your doctor.
HOW TO USE MEDICINE
This medicine is for external use only. Use it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Clean and dry the affected area and apply the gel. Wash your hands after applying, unless hands are the affected area.
- Uses / Indications: Lacrimist Eye Cream is used in the treatment of dry eyes. It is used as a lubricant to relive irritation and discomfort due to dryness of the eyes or due to exposure of the eyes to wind or sun.

- Expert advice:
- Your doctor has prescribed Lacrimist to treat dry eye disease. It stabilizes the natural tear film and maintains necessary lubrication so your eyes don’t get dry and irritated. May require long-term use. Apply pressure on the corner of the eye (close to the nose) for about 1 minute immediately after instilling the drop. Wait for at least 5-10 minutes before delivering the next medication in the same eye to avoid dilution. Stinging sensation may occur for 1-2 mins. Notify your doctor if it persists for longer. Make sure to use within 4 weeks of opening the bottle.

Gently squeeze the tube and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid or ear. Wipe off extra liquid.
