Airtec Sf 50 Mcg/250 Mcg Inhaler is used for preventing and controlling asthma symptoms and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease symptoms. These symptoms include shortness of breath, coughing, wheezing and chest tightness. It prevents breathing difficulties during exercise.
Common side effects of Airtec Sf 50 Mcg/250 Mcg Inhaler are sinus infection, dizziness and migraine headaches. In most cases, these side effects are minor and don't require treatment. Certain side effects, however, are serious and should be reported to a healthcare provider immediately. Some of these are high blood pressure, rapid heart rate and worsening of breathing problems.
Use alternate medicines and avoid this medicine if you are allergic to it, using other medicines like long-acting beta-agonist medicine, azole anti-fungal or macrolide antibiotic. This medicine needs to be taken with extra precautions if you have asthma and have frequent asthma attacks.
Airtec Sf 50 Mcg/250 Mcg Inhaler is available as a dry powder inhaler that releases a powdered form of the drug. Your dosage will be determined by the doctor based on your medical condition. If you miss a dose use the medication as soon as you remember, then wait 12 hours before using the medication again. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose.

- Airtec SF 50 mcg/250 mcg Inhaler may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

- How to use:
- Check the label for directions before use. Shake the inhaler. While you are breathing in from mouth, press down on the inhaler one time to release the medication and hold your breath for 10 seconds. Repeat until you have inhaled the number of puffs as suggested by the doctor.Afterwards, rinse your mouth thoroughly with water and spit it out.

Salmeterol is a long-acting bronchodilator which works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens the airways. Fluticasone is a steroid which stops the release of certain natural substances that cause inflammation (swelling) in the airways. Together, they make breathing easier.
