Forair 500 Novocart is used for preventing and controlling asthma symptoms and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease symptoms. These symptoms include shortness of breath, coughing, wheezing and chest tightness. It prevents breathing difficulties during exercise.
Common side effects of Forair 500 Novocart are sinus infection, dizziness and migraine headaches. In most cases, these side effects are minor and don't require treatment. Certain side effects, however, are serious and should be reported to a healthcare provider immediately. Some of these are high blood pressure, rapid heart rate and worsening of breathing problems.
Use alternate medicines and avoid this medicine if you are allergic to it, using other medicines like long-acting beta-agonist medicine, azole anti-fungal or macrolide antibiotic. This medicine needs to be taken with extra precautions if you have asthma and have frequent asthma attacks.
Forair 500 Novocart is available as a dry powder inhaler that releases a powdered form of the drug. Your dosage will be determined by the doctor based on your medical condition. If you miss a dose use the medication as soon as you remember, then wait 12 hours before using the medication again. Skip the missed dose if it is almost time for your next scheduled dose.

- How it works:
- ForAir 500 Novocart is a combination of two medicines: Salmeterol and Fluticasone. Salmeterol is a long-acting bronchodilator which works by relaxing the muscles in the airways and widens the airways. Fluticasone is a steroid which stops the release of certain natural substances that cause inflammation (swelling) in the airways. Together, they make breathing easier.
