Mediker Liquid is an antibacterial and antifungal agent found in some consumer products, that include toothpaste, detergents, soaps, toys, as well as surgical cleaning treatments. The antimicrobial active ingredient is added to a wide verity of products where its main focus is to slow or stop the growth of fungi, bacteria and mildew. In institutional, commercial and industrial equipment uses, Mediker Liquid is incorporated in fire hoses, conveyor belts, dye bath vats, or ice-making equipment as an antimicrobial. In healthcare and medical department, Mediker Liquid is used as an ingredient in surgical scrubs and hand washes. At a high concentration, Mediker Liquid acts as a biocide with multiple cytoplasmic and membrane targets. When used at a lower concentration in commercial products, Mediker Liquid appears bacteriostatic which means it targets bacteria primarily by inhibiting fatty acid synthesis.

- Mediker Liquid is probably safe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effect on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. Please consult your doctor.

- Use Mediker after meals, it may affect the taste of foods and beverages. For maximum effectiveness avoid rinsing mouth (with water or any other mouthwash), brushing teeth, eating or drinking for 30 minutes after using the Mediker. Mediker may cause permanent discolouration of some tooth fillings. To minimize discolouration, brush and floss daily, focussing on the areas which begin to discolour. Do not mix/dilute Mediker with any other product. Avoid contact with eyes and ears. If the solution comes in contact with your eyes, rinse well with water. Notify your doctor if you are or planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding.
