- Retop A 0.05% Gel may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

- Apply a thin layer of Retop a once daily, before bedtime, to the affected area of skin. You may experience mild skin irritation on applying Retop a. Exposure to sunlight may cause skin irritation. Hence, avoid this type of exposure while using Retop a. The color and texture of your skin may change on long-term use. Not advisable for women who are or plan to become pregnant. Certain other skin medications such as benzoyl peroxide may inactivate Retop a and therefore should not be used simultaneously.
